Would you put your soul upon a silver plate
And cut it in a million pieces with a rusted rake
Serve it to the world until they’ve had their fill
Chew me up and spit you out; it makes me ill.
Pregnant is the beast that will consume your soul
Gratify the hungry one; You think you’re whole
Graze upon yourself until at last you wept
Freely gave yourself until there’s nothing left...
-nothing left… nothing left… nothing left

Weigh consequences
Come to your senses
The beast; you dribble down his chin
Above the water
Lie on the alter
The beast you fight is within

Licentious  nation
Drowning in a pit – snakes, blood and shame
Pretentious  nation
Loved yourself to death.  You lost the ancient game.
